OC Walk to Remember – 2013
The 9th annual OC Walk to Remember, a Forever Footprints event, took place on October 5, 2014 at The District at Tustin Legacy in Tustin, CA.
The below video was shown to remember all the babies who have made a huge impact our lives. About 3500 people attended the event.
Under sunny morning skies, and despite strong winds, the 2013 OC Walk to Remember Memorial Service, 5K Walk, and Celebration of Angels was a beautiful day full of compassion and hope. Approximately 3,500 people, our largest gathering ever, attended the event to honor and remember the love and lives of more than 480 babies.
The addition of the Baby Memorial Banner was truly appreciated by all families. Many priceless moments were captured as families took pictures of their babies’ names. We hope to make the Memorial Banner a lasting component of each future OC Walk to Remember.

Fundraising Update
The 2013 Online Fundraising Campaign generated $54,178 in donations for the OC Walk to Remember. While this amount is less than our $75,000 goal, we are incredibly grateful for the support of all our donors and fundraising teams. These donations are critical in our success as an organization to ensure that every family who experiences a pregnancy or infant loss infant receives the best possible care, comfort and support for their journey.
Compassion Award Recipient and Nominees
The 2013 Compassion Award was presented to Angie Bailey for her dedication to education and outreach to the medical community in Orange County. Since losing her first baby, Aiden in 2010, Angie has worked tirelessly in the pregnancy and infant loss community. By serving on numerous committees of non-profits dedicated to this cause, she is committed to helping others who go through the tragedy of losing a baby. Angie currently services as the Director of Community Education for the OC Walk to Remember and has educated hundreds of medical professionals in Orange County. She has volunteered since 2011 for the OC Walk to Remember and as a HOPE Mentor for the MISS Foundation.
We honor and congratulate all the nominees for outstanding compassion and service to our community:
