Leland Hartley Pines, our remarkable and beautiful son, arrived to us on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 7:20 PM. The 8 ½ months our son was in the womb were the most joyous moments with him. He kicked and wiggled in the womb that we christened him “Wiggly”. Leland, you’ve forever changed our life for the better. We grieve your passing every day. Your older brother, father and mother, adore and love you deeply. We wish we could have looked in your eyes, watched you grow and develop from an infant-to-toddler, to a boy and to an adult. If love could have saved you, you would be with us today. “An angel in the book of life wrote down my baby’s birth. Then whispered as she closed the book “too beautiful for earth”.” We’ll always be a family of four. Love you always – Your brother, father & mother.
