On May 22nd OC Walk to Remember hosted a Luncheon and Fundraising Auction at the beautiful Anaheim White House Restaurant.  Tickets to the luncheon sold out quickly and included a three-course meal as well as complimentary wine and valet parking.   All proceeds from the event benefitted OC Walk to Remember’s Community Outreach and Support Programs.

The 100 guests in attendance were welcomed by OC Walk to Remember Staff and provided with an OC Walk to Remember Tote Bag containing a bidder card and auction catalogue.  Guests were then able to enjoy an hour in the sunny courtyard silently bidding on over 40 incredible silent auction items and 10 additional premium items that professional auctioneer, Rick Werner, closed via a Mini Live Auction.  All items were generous donated and included: a week-long stay a Jepun Bali Villas, an astoundingly beautiful Balinese resort; a two-night stay, and two 60 min spa treatments, at the renowned Enchantment Resort & Mii Amo Spa in Sedona, Arizona; a swanky indoor/outdoor cabana for the day at the popular Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach; and a new Lexus for a weekend provided by Lexus of Mission Viejo.

As the auction concluded, guests were welcomed into the ballroom for a stunning three-course lunch.  Anaheim White House, known for their dedication to philanthropy, generously donated the use of their courtyard and ballroom, as well as the three-course meal, to OC Walk to Remember.  The luncheon began with a powerful speech from Executive Director Kristyn von Rotz and was followed by a moving video about OC Walk to Remember’s Community Outreach and Support Programs and the families they directly impact.

Guests enjoyed a three-course meal and complimentary wine in the ballroom at Anaheim White House.

As the guests enjoyed their meal, Auctioneer Rick Werner opened the floor to a Fund a Need and provided guests with examples of how various levels of funding could support OC Walk to Remember.  The guests generously responded and countless bidder cards were raised in support of OC Walk to Remember and its Community Outreach and Support Programs.

Guests showed overwhelming support for OCWTR as they raised their bidder cards and generously donated to the organization.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the event attendees, Anaheim White House, Auctioneer Rick Werner, and the countless companies who made donations to the Silent and Mini Live Auctions, OC Walk to Remember raised over $20K that will go directly to support their Community Outreach and Support Programs.

The Anaheim White House luncheon was a humble demonstration of the expanding awareness and reach that the OC Walk to Remember has developed over the years. Every single person in the room that day had a heavy heart whether they have experienced a loss or not – they walked away believing in the mission, purpose and future possibilities for this organization. As a fellow angel mom, I stand proud with this community who works so hard to ensure families have the best support possible to get through what is truly a life-changing experience.”
